Shipments

All orders are shipped collect from our warehouse (Surrey, B.C.) unless alternate arrangements are made.

All common carriers will be used upon customers request. When not specified we will use the most economical method possible. Be advised some carriers will charge extra if unable to transport over 8' lengths.

Shipment orders are treated as efficiently as possible, with every attempt made to have your order leave within that business day. However, this may not always be possible due to work loads or time allowances. Orders are shipped within 24 hours of receiving order placement.

Every effort is made to ensure backorders are filled prior to shipments. However, back orders do happen and customer will be phoned when back order arrives. Backorder will be shipped on your next order, unless cancel backorders is stated. Backorders will be shipped "No Charge" if product unable to be shipped has a value of $75.00 Cdn or more.

Note: Recipient is responsible for additional customs and/or duty fees, if applicable.

Damages

All stocked merchandise in our warehouse have been inspected when we receive our products. Merchandise leaves our location in same condition as it arrives (NEW). Upon receiving your parcel, inspect and count packages before signing. Once signed for, claims cannot be made.

Damage claims on collect shipments are customers responsibility.

Shortages must be made within 2 days of receiving parcel.

Shipments are shipped without extra insurance. However, it is available at customers expense (usually 2-5% of shipment value).

Returned Merchandise

Customer must obtain a Returned Goods Authorization #, and specify reason for return. Or, return goods with either copy of invoice or packing slip.

Returned freight cost, Hi-Tech errors, Hi-Tech will pay. Customer error or change of mind, customer will pay.

Parts must be in AS NEW re-salable condition. Boxes, instructions and fasteners complete.

Special orders, time dated (shelf life), electrical items, cut to size and used items are non-returnable.

Hi-Tech will credit or re-ship orders shipped in error. Wrongfully shipped goods must be held until Hi-Tech determines to dispose of goods or re-ship freight collect.

Restocking fees:
1-30 days, no restocking fee
31-60 days, 25%
61+ no returns

Special Orders

Special orders or custom fabricated hardware must be accompanied by a purchase order via fax or e-mail. Verbal orders will not be processed until confirmation by PO is made.

Warranty Claims

Many supply products will have to be returned to manufacturer for inspection. No credit can be issued until inspection is complete.

Privacy

Information collected when you place an order is used only for the fulfillment of your order. Your information is never shared , rented, or sold to third parties for advertising or solicitation. Your name and address are only printed on your packing slip and the address label for your package to be shipped to you.
